North Jetty

North Jetty, which frames the north side of Casey’s Pass in Nokomis (map) is great for fishing, bird-, dolphin- and manatee-watching, strolling, and for access to North Jetty Beach and Nokomis Beach just to the north.

Birds flock to this area because of the fishing possibilities in the waters of Casey’s Pass, the channel between the Gulf of Mexico and the bays of Lyons, Roberts and Dona.

North and South Jetties, framing the waters of Casey’s Pass, are among the best places to look for dolphins, which sport in the waters of the channel and at its mouth in the Gulf of Mexico.
